Jerusalem

BYU saves the day!!! We got into Jerusalem later than we'd hoped and were trying to make it to the BYU concert that evening. After driving all over and not being able to find were we were we finally saw the BYU center lit up on the hill. A much needed beacon to guide us, not just to the concert that night, but also give us our bearings on directions to our hotel afterwards! It was a really nice concert and unbelievable setting.

This is the view from out "hotel" room. It was on the 5th floor with paper thin windows that made the wind SO loud. Also loudspeakers at the top of nearly 200 minarets call the Muslims to pray, even in the middle of the night.  And they seemed to last for at least 15-20 minutes.
