 Brinley got to play against one of her best friends last Saturday!

 We are beyond thrilled to have this girl home from BYUI! We had a belated birthday celebration. The next day, while I was on Kylie's field trip, she sneaked into my house and cleaned EVERYTHING! All the dishes, folded clothes and blankets, stacked books. She's amazing :)

Busted Foot

Kylie's foot, and spring soccer season, were a total bust this year! She smacked it at the beach on some rocks that were hiding in the water. She then played a couple games on it (in serious pain). Once we realized it still wasn't getting better we decided to have it checked out. The growth bone in her foot had separated from the bone. Luckily it wasn't too serious. The ER had her in a splint for a couple days. The foot specialist switched her to a boot. The boot was/is SOOO heavy! It pumps up with air and she can barely lift it off the ground. We rented a knee scooter and I'm really mad that I never got a picture of her on it. It made her pretty popular at school. After a week and a half completely off of it she can now walk in the boot and feels so free!

Kylie's Field Trip

Kylie was so excited to have me finally go on a field trip with her! It's been so nice having my mom retire to help with the other kids so I can do fun things like this.

Paige's swimming class

Paige did really well in her swimming class. There were times in the beginning where she'd only hang onto the wall or make her teacher hold her. She was a bit nervous to walk around in the water herself. By the end she was much more brave. She was doing assisted floats and kicks. For the last day of class I told her she'd get to go on the big purple water slide. She said she didn't want to. Once she got to class though, she went along with it and was so brave and had a great time!

Paige's swimming class

Since Paige has worn her swimming suit daily for the past year I decided the perfect birthday present would be swimming lessons. She was very excited and loves being such a big girl.

Mr. Scout

I failed. I thought I could handle a puppy but I was wrong. After many tears we had to re home this handsome guy. Kylie got some fish on the way home that she loves but I'm not sure if Brinley will ever forgive me.

Paige's Birthday and some randoms

 Paige was especially spoiled this birthday. Since Craig and I were gone on her actual birthday she got to celebrate all month long. We did a party before we left and she had gifts continue to show up all month.

 Our friend found this huge owl in the woods near our home. It's hard to see in the photo but Kylie got pretty close to it.

Beach Day

The kids were out of school on Friday. We went to the beach and had a great time. We started at Hug Point but the tide was very high and so we ended up going to Cannon Beach. It was a bit windy but still super fun. We love the beach!!
