The much anticipated first day of school! Since we moved at the end of June we've had a lot of struggle over where the kids were going to attend school. The school right by us is Spanish Immersion and ranked a 1 on a scale of 1-10 (1 being low). Since they don't over any English only classes we can automatically opt out to a better school nearby. I tried to keep them at their old school, which was much better but they only had room for Brinley, not Kylie. I tried to get them in another math and science school nearby but we were too late for the transfer request. Luckily they both ended up with good teachers and are having a pretty good time where they are at. Kylie made a friend that she really gets along well with. Brinley has a girl from soccer in her class but has still been having a really hard time. A week and a half ago I had to literally carry her to the bus stop. The office then called and said she was sobbing. She was so anxious she was making herself sick. I was getting ready to transfer her back to her old school but luckily she's been doing much better.

Love these kiddos! So so glad Brinley is doing better!
Changing schools and being around different people can be so hard. Glad to hear they are all doing better and adjusting.
