We had a fairly non traditional 4th. We drove 10 hours to Montana for Craig's family reunion. We bought some fireworks 15 minutes before we got to the house and found out about a fireworks ban. So if anyone needs some fireworks we have a couple bags full!!
Other than the firework letdown, it was amazing to be with family. We roasted marshmallows and the kids loved playing together. The other great thing about July is that my grandparent's birthdays are the 2nd and 4th. This was an extra special year since they were turning 90! I was sorry to miss the celebration but planning on being there next year!
