This was an interesting year getting a Christmas tree. Most of the kids ended up crying at one point or another. Kylie found a tree she loved at the beginning but the 1 other person there cut it down while we were looking at other trees, whoops!
This was the only tree farm I've been to that trims the trunks up when the tree grows too big. Then they cut it at the base and then again where the branches begin. They gave us this pole to measure how tall the trees were. It was hard to judge with the actual tree part being so high up.
Luckily it ended on a happy note. Craig convinced everyone that this was "the one" or at least okay. It was a little weak, but we don't have much room for a big tree.

Sounds like a typical family outing for us, someone crying at any given point. At least the pictures portray a happy family picking out a tree. ;)
The chosen one is beautiful, I love that you go pick out a fresh tree every year.
