Cougar time!!

Paige overload...I couldn't pick a favorite

 Parker's torn in his love of football and tutus. Oh well. I think he rocks them both! He's been all about his "moves" lately. If you ask him to show you his moves he'll start break dancing and holding awesome poises. I love this silly boy!!

Look what Paige found... 

 We found this shirt and these boots at a garage sale and Kylie was in LOVE. She's a real cowgirl :)

 We also found Brinley a shirt. They love to match. They dressed up and did their hair all on their own and were so proud to show off their cuteness and cowgirlness.

 The Buttercups!! Kylie and Brinley wanted to create a club called the buttercups and earn badges. We had a great time at the park with their friends. They earned badges for popping bubbles, 3 legged race, crab walk, jump rope, cartwheels, and everyone's favorite badges were the scavenger hunt and fruit loop necklaces.

I love when these two decide to be friends!!

More Poultry....

Kylie found an egg at the park today! In the bushes under a tree. This girl is a poultry magnet. It's about as big as a chicken egg but wider. We took it to the Peacock's who happen to have a nesting chicken.

Kylie's right egg is the one she found. Her left one is a chicken egg.

It ended up being a dud :( After about a week of being sat on it started stinking and rotting. Whew! I'm glad we won't have a baby chick, duck, snake or turtle to take care of.

Life...

Aug 26th...
We just drove past a friend's house. They're currently out of town so I stopped and moved their newspapers for them. When Brinley asked what I did I explained that newspapers in driveways means no ones home so people can come steal things. Her response... "So what did you steal?"

August 18th...
Kylie's talk for church today, she told us what to write....

When we were at an air show a couple years ago we left before the fireworks started. But when we got home I really wanted to see the fireworks so I said a prayer that I could go see them. When I barely touched my head on my pillow mommy came in and said “Let’s go see the fireworks!” And we jumped out of bed and drove to see the fireworks.
I know Heavenly Father can help you and me when we have problems and pray for help.

Aug. 4th...
Kylie ran an entire 5K yesterday by herself. AND....beat me!!! 34 minutes 10 seconds, Yeah...my 6 year old is amazing!!!

June 18th...
I'm making Quinoa patties for dinner...
Brinely: Can I have more eggs?
Craig: No we're having patti's
Brinley: you mean Carter's mom? 

HORSES!!!

My kids are obsessed with horses. They were in heaven yesterday at the Church Fair when they got to ride them (and have their faces painted).

Cool Things

A guy in the city made a bunch of transformers out of random things and has them in his yard. They are pretty cool!!

 Our friend's are landscapers and let Parker climb on their cool tractor. He was a big fan!

Family 5K

We had a fun morning running a 5K yesterday. Brinley did 1 of the 3 laps in 12 minutes and did great. Parker rode in the stroller and ran a little and had fun. Craig had knee surgery a month ago so he was our cheerleader. Kylie is 6 years old and ran the entire thing by herself in 34 minutes 10 seconds. Unbelievable, I know! She beat me legitimately. I can't believe she did the whole thing, let alone beat me. Way to go girl!!
