Forts and Fish
Do you ever have those "duh" moments in your life? I had to run to the grocery store and my parents were with us. It's right by the pet store so if Grandpa takes the kids to check out the animals, then Grandma and I can pick up a few things with a lot less hassle right? OH WHOOPS!!! I forgot that goldfish cost 13 cents. Oh, and it's my dad. What was I thinking? I guess I subconsciously wanted fish. Oh well, at least it's not a puppy! They got 3 on Tuesday and we have 2 now. The miracle of 13 cent goldfish :) Anyway Kylie and Brinley LOVE them and papa's pretty proud of himself. He did clean the tank out on Friday though.

Eli's mom, also known as Michelle Rowe, had their BEAUTIFUL baby girl Lilly last week. She has lots of dark hair and cute little tiny arms and legs and fingers and toes. We're so happy that she's going to get to play with us soon! Eli got to come over for a while Thursday morning and he and Kylie had fun in the fort. I moved the chair to scrub my floor and they had a book party under there.

Brinley's new favorite hiding spot...
According to Brinley that best part of this is that it's also a ride. It wiggles around and Kylie will spin her back and forth in it. Honestly she climbs in all by herself and does this. I can't leave the laundry room door open or she'll run in and scream for me to open the washer door so she can climb in.
We've been tired lately...

Happy Birthday to my Baby!!!
I can't believe that Brinley is 1 today!! Time definitely goes by faster when it's not your first child. We love her so much and she's such a blessing in our lives. In the beginning she was my little angel baby. Sleeping all the time and playing by herself. She was a very easy baby but lately I'm beginning to see the end of that. She is CRAZY now!! I still love her and she's cute and can get into moods of playing great by herself but she can also climb up the couch onto the bar and out of her high chair onto the counter. She knows what "NO" means but doesn't care what it means. She says DADA for sure and probably bye, hi and this. She's great at pointing to what she wants and has decided that I'm not allowed to tell her what to do. She's got a lot of spirit and we love her even when she spends the whole day walking around holding my legs reaching up saying uh, uh. Maybe it's the fact that she's cutting her one year molars right now. 2 and a half are through and the last one has been bulging for a while now. It's so crazy to think that 1 year ago I was sitting in the hospital holding her for the first time. Anyway Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!!
