Brinley's First Steps!!!

I can't believe our baby girl is already walking!! If you can't believe it either, watch for yourself. After a medium to large struggle with the computer I figured out how to post this video from the webcam. Sorry the quality's not top notch but you get the idea. We're so proud of her. She's the happiest baby ever. Everyone always tells us how happy she is. She's very smiley and flirty and we're so glad that she's a part of our famly.

Tulip Festival!!

Thanks to the Crosby's free passes, we went to the Tulip Festival in Woodburn this weekend. It was really beautiful and fun. Kylie was so excited to ride the pony that she wouldn't think or talk about anything else. As you can tell she was too distracted to pose for pictures but we had a really fun time. Grandma Klein was nice enough to come help with the girls and we stopped by the outlets on our way back. It was a big day but really nice. Especially since the weather's started getting so much nicer.

Tulip Festival

As you can tell, the girls weren't very excited to pose.

More Easter Pictures

These are from our own Easter Egg Hunt last Sunday morning. I think Brinley got 3, maybe 4 eggs. Kylie got way too many!

Easter presents...

Grandma sent these cute matching jammies and I think that they're actually the only matching outfits that the girls have. Anyway Kylie thought that it was really cool that Brinley was wearing her jammies too. Aunt Brooke sent this fun package of stuff for the girls. Thanks family, we miss you and wish that we could spend Easter together!!

Our Garden!!

I got Craig some seeds for his birthday and we're very excited to try and grow some of our own things. I definitely don't have much of a green thumb but we're trying and borrowed a great book (thanks Melissa) called Square Foot Gardening. Craig helped me build this planter box today and we got some seeds started. Wish us luck and we'll keep you updated!! Unless nothing grows, then you probably won't hear much. Anyway here's some pictures...

Easter Egg Hunting...with a twist...

Our community pool did a water egg hunt. I wasn't sure what it'd be like but it was great!! Kylie loved it. You can't tell in the pictures too much but she was laughing her head off. She was estatic! Grandpa was nice enough to swim around with her and Grandma got to hold sleeping Brinley the whole time. Kylie got tons of eggs and still isn't a fan of the Easter bunny. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for the fun idea and day! Thanks grandma Christensen for the new swimming suit. It didn't take us long to break it in!!

Family Fun!!

Grandma Christensen, Aunt Brooke and the gang drove all the way to Oregon to see us. It was so fun and we're so glad that they dealt with the crazy trip. We loved having them here. We got to do lots of fun things (you can read the details on Brooke's blog) but mostly it was great to just spend time together. We love and miss them!!

Picture Day!!

When we were all together, we got pictures of all the cousins together. Luckily Kylie's Aunt Brooke knows how to be girly and actually curled Kylie's hair, piece by piece. I loved it so maybe I'll try it for Easter, it really didn't take that long, but I had so document it for you all!! Brooke got the cute headband on Brinley and flowers too! And the outfits! Thanks Brooke!!

Cousins at the park!!

Brinley Ann

I left her bowl of squash and cereal on the high chair for a second instead of on the counter. Whoops!!!

6 Boxes of Cereal for $0.42 - Yep 42 cents!! and that's total, not each!!

Albertsons is having a great deal for their Post Cereals right now. You can get 6 boxes for $4.42, but there is also a printable coupon at http://www.postcereals.com/trailmixcrunch/ for $2.00 off 1 box of Trail Mix Cereal. You can print it twice by refreshing the page. So if you get 2 boxes of the Trail mix cereal and your choice of 4 other boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats, Raisin Bran, or their Select Post cereals (anything that has a $2.07 price tag); then your total for all 6 boxes of cereal will be 42 cents!! Hopefully this makes sense. How the Albertsons deal works is that their Post cereals are on sale for $2.07 but if you buy 2 it'll take $1 off at the bottom of your reciept. Also for buying 5 or more boxes of Post cereal it will print out a $5.00 coupon towards your next order but at least the Albertsons on Cornell and 15th is using that coupon right away on your order. I really hope that this makes sense. Let me know any questions but I went yesterday and got 6 boxes for $0.42. Right when you walk in the door it has a sign that says buy 4 of the participating Post cereals and they're like $0.82 each. It's a hand written sign. This should be good through Tuesday the 7th. Good Luck!!
