Kylie's Church Talk

Kylie has a talk today in primary. Her topic is "I can know the scriptures are true." She told me everything below on her own. We embellished a little for her talk but I wanted to record what she thought and said all by herself....

I know the scriptures are true. I know that Jesus sent them. And I know that the scriptures are special to Jesus and we never rip or color or draw in them except when you want to highlight your special part. And I know the scriptures are very special to Jesus and he sent everything and made the whole earth and I know he will come again.

Parker's Blessing and Family Visits

Still catching up...
We blessed Parker on Dec. 5th and were very blessed to have so much family support. Mike, Joyce, Kaylee and Kent and Brooke's family all drove here (in the winter) to be with us. We had a great time being together and showing of our cool little man!

The kids all had a blast at Chuck E Cheese!!

Parker got plenty of love and attention!!

Grandma got lots of reading in...

These are from when Mike and Joyce came right after Parker was born. We had an early birthday celebration for Kylie...
and played at the beach.

Kylie's Birthday

Kylie turned 4 (two months ago) and we had a great birthday party. Her birthday is Veteran's Day so luckily my School teacher mom always has the day off of work. This was my first year trying a kids only party but I still had lots of help. My favorite part of the party was when Kylie opened her Cinderella Barbie. Cinderella is Brinley's favorite and Brinley had snuck upstairs while Kylie was opening presents. It was so cute and sweet because as soon as Kylie opened it and saw it was Cinderella she (surrounded by all her friends) Says "Brinley!! Brinley!! Look!" and started looking all over to show Brinley. It was just so sweet that she thought of her sister and the one person she wanted to show her present to was Brinley. They get along so well. It was hard having the 2 girls so close together when they were little but I'm so happy now to see them as best friends always being together and playing together. They really are worried about eachother and stick together and play and care so much. I love it!!
Anyway back to Birthday celebrations...

A dreaming girl...

I still need to post Kylie's birthday, Parker's blessing and Christmas but I wanted to get Kylie's dream on here before I forget. Last week was the first time Kylie's been aware of a dream and able to tell me about it. I woke her up for school and she said, "Guess what I was dreaming about...There was a spider and a rainbow and the spider was climbing up the rainbow and trying to take to colors off but he couldn't get them off.
