Kylie's Playgroup
Kylie started a playgroup with some friends. They had lots of fun playing in shaving cream with animals and cars, but mostly they thought it was great on themselves.

Our stubborn one...
Brinley INSISTS on sitting at the big table AND feeding herself. The results....
Couponing
I know that most of you think that I'm crazy for couponing, but I promise once you start it's a new, fun, addicting hobby. I spent about a half hour organizing deals and coupons last night and this morning I went to 2 stores. The result is that I got everything below and MADE $1.08!! WooHoo!! What's not fun about that?!?

p.s. those gums are 2 packs each and there was another juice box :)

Kylie's new room (and eventually Brinley's)
A while ago our good friend Patti painted this cool picture for Kylie's room, then a month ago or so Craig and I painted one of her walls and yesterday I got this great bed that I've been watching on Craigslist. So this is Kylie and eventually Brinley's new and improved room. I painted the wooden letters on the wall and still have a butterfly and bumblebee that I'm playing with. We don't have a twin sheet yet either so it's still a work in progress but the girls LOVE the slide and fort under the bed. Just in time for Oregon's rainy winter!!
Wow!! Something to blog about!!!
Holy Cow!!! So we went to the zoo with the Crosby's this morning. They just added lions and cheetahs and African dogs so we went to see the brand new exhibit. What a day! To start with, the lions were hard to see and not doing very much. This first picture is really zoomed in. The cheetahs were much more exciting .

On our way out we got a better view of the lion and lionesses. We were on the side away from people so we took a couple pictures. They're up on the hill to my left.

This is zoomed in...

Jen and Emily (the lions are right above Emily's head)

Lionesses in the top left corner, not too exciting so we were moving away getting strollers and Brinley was all by herself crawling down the steps just playing around.

And then the lioness decides that Brinley looks too easy!! No joke she's running in the picture below. Jen saw her crouch and start to stalk so she yelled at me. I thought that she meant to grab the camera because the lioness was coming down for pictures but soon realized that she was coming for lunch! She's running FAST in the picture below and POUNCED HARD right into the window. She slammed up against the glass and really was going to eat Brinley, AHHHH!!!!! No joke! It was insane!! She was serious and hit the window hard! They had an attendant there observing the lions. She didn't care at all about Brinley but was worried about the lion smacking into the window. She said that Brinley was definitely the prey and she guess before I told her that a small child had turned her back. So that's our craziness to force me back into blogging to let you know that a lion tried to eat my baby today!!!

DVD Player
Grandma Christensen got this fun DVD player for Kylie for her birthday last year and I don't know who likes it more daddy or Kylie. Kylie loves it and daddy loves how he can watch sports without Kylie whining to watch her shows. Don't worry I promise she doesn't watch tv every minute of every day, even though she would if she could.

Sarah and Marc's beautiful Wedding!!
Hello Blogging friends, we're alive!! One excuse is that our computer crashed and we lost some pictures. The other excuse is my laziness. Anyway, my best friend from High school got married last weekend and it was so beautiful. She grew up in a house that's right on the river. We used to sleep in a hammock in the backyard and wake up to the geese in the morning. We rafted often and it has such great memories but now it has an even better memory. Her wedding was so beautiful and I'm so lucky that I got to be a party of it and to have a patient husband who let me be a part of it. We did a weekend trip (bachlorette party) to the beach the weekend before and had lots of fun with parties for this wedding. Thanks for everything Sarah and Marc, We wish you the best!!!
